A challenging arch replication on a beautifully built, gothic revival bay window.
A distinctive architectural feature, this original pointed-arch bay brings an unmistakable sense of character to the home. Our new bespoke joinery has been carefully crafted to echo the proportions and detailing of the original windows, preserving the charm of the bay while bringing it back to life for modern living.
Bringing the outside in…
Perfectly measured to the external brickwork, the rare pointed-arch design continues into the interior, carrying the home’s distinctive Gothic character seamlessly from outside in.
Finished in our signature white, the Sikkens coating is specially formulated to withstand the elements, from rain and moisture to prolonged sun exposure, helping to maintain its brilliant finish for years to come. Water-based and non-toxic, the paint is colour-matched and specially formulated for Accoya timber, delivering a durable, easy-to-clean finish designed to resist rot and stand the test of time.
Our signature Beechhall horn detail features across these sizeable sash windows, paired with perfectly weighted lead balances for effortless operation.
Designed for smooth, quiet and reliable use for years to come, each window is finished with waxed sash cords to keep the fibres clean and running freely, inset brush seals for silent movement, and premium ironmongery for effortless opening and closing. Locks and restrictors provide added security and are particularly well suited to street-facing windows in this busy North London neighbourhood.

In this bay, we made clever use of the sizeable central window, incorporating the weights for the side windows to allow them to be open too. At Beechhall, we’re always looking for ways to bring your vision to life, using modern techniques such as spiral springs allows us to maximise natural light while maintaining fully functional windows — even where space within the boxes is limited.
