Since purchasing the property in 2019, our clients, who have deep roots in the local area, have transformed it into a warm and characterful home. Bespoke joinery plays a central role throughout their home, with built-in cupboards and wardrobes thoughtfully designed to maximise every inch of the cosy interiors.

The finishing touch to this considered renovation?

A striking bespoke front door, designed to bring the same sense of character and craftsmanship to the entrance. This beautifully crafted eight-panel, Edwardian-inspired door is a testament to the exceptional level of design and craftsmanship achieved at Beechhall. Finished in Calke Green by Farrow & Ball, the vibrant green hue pairs beautifully with the rich berry tones of the uniform ten-panel stained glass, creating a bold yet harmonious finish.

The organic curves and natural motifs of the stained glass create a beautiful contrast against the strong vertical lines of the three lower panels, each uniquely inset with a double-beaded detail.

In the sidelights, diagonal lines draw the eye towards the centre of the door, where a striking black doctor’s knocker sits above the perfectly positioned black door knob, neatly set within the mid rail. The clients opted for a small letter plate beside the door, rather than incorporating a letterbox into the door itself, allowing the clean lines of the design to remain uninterrupted.
