Changing History.

In the turn of the century, we witnessed a massive change in front door design. Unlike their predecessors, Victorian doors, Edwardian doors are characterised by elegant, balanced designs that combine practicality with decorative detail. They often use natural timber, glazed panels and raised mouldings, with symmetrical layouts that give the entrance a refined appearance.

Decorative glass, such as stained or patterned glazing, was also common and helped create a sense of light and openness. Today, Edwardian era doors are praised for their sophisticated and detailed style, intricate craftsmanship and playful ornamentation.

We’re delighted to have worked alongside our longtime collaborator, Annahita Hessami, on so many of our Edwardian glass designs. Her craftsmanship is unmatched and truly brings these doors to life. The stained glass design process is entirely personal and unique to each project.
